Empact/Suicide Prevention Center is an alcohol and drug addiction treatment facility that is located at 618 South Madison Drive in Tempe, Arizona. Treating substance abuse involves multiple stages of treatment through a recovery program such as that offered by Empact/Suicide Prevention Center. This can include group counseling, individual counseling, outpatient treatment, inpatient treatment, and medically assisted detox, among many others. Treatment programs are based on the individual themselves and are constructed to suit each patient individually. Just as every person is unique, so should treatment programs and that is exactly what patients will receive at Empact/Suicide Prevention Center.
If addicts do not obtain the right type of support and guidance, they may find treatment to be very difficult as the thought of sobriety can seem so far-fetched. At Empact/Suicide Prevention Center, professional counseling and guidance are provided to all patients aged 18+, giving them the strength needed in order to obtain a life that is free of drug and alcohol addiction. By altering the patient's outlook on life through addiction treatment, they will be able to stay positive throughout the duration of rehab.
The staff members at Empact/Suicide Prevention Center have a mission and that is to give patients effective and quality addiction treatment so that long-lasting sobriety can be obtained. The path to a positive future starts on a positive foot and that begins at Empact/Suicide Prevention Center. Confronting addiction is a difficult thing to do, but it is the most important step in the recovery process. Through professional counseling during the patient's time in treatment, patients will learn coping skills and trigger management which is imperative to the success of maintaining sobriety.
Maintaining sobriety on one's own is extremely difficult, especially when the addict has tried to go 'cold turkey' on their own. This is because it requires medically-assisted detox in order to properly and safely wean the body off of the substance of abuse. This way the body does not go through sudden withdrawal nor experience harsh side effects. Empact/Suicide Prevention Center can provide patients with all of the necessary tools, treatments, and resources so that patients have every opportunity to succeed in recovery.

I love this place. I'm here 2 days a week and enjoy every minute of it. The counselors are all extremely educated in all areas of their expertise. The front office staff are always friendly and very competent in their jobs. 5 stars.
I have a very favorable memory of my treatment. It was a very difficult time in my life. Yes, it does take a while to get in the system. However, once in, I received the tools to help me cope with the severe PTSD. My therapist even accompanied me to court because I was so afraid to go by myself. I believe her name was Amy. Conrad helped me after Amy. I continued to see him after I was released. The release was frightening. He helped me work through it.
Outstanding service with highly trained, compassionate, selfless, and understanding counselors. I was always greeted with a smile by the front desk. Amanda Baker is an absolute godsend. She will completely transform your life into something amazing and beautiful. Lisa and Andrew are also great group counselors who are very knowledgeable in what they do. The facility is always clean, quiet, and professional. Highly recommend!

From the front desk to behind the door, the past five months have been nothing but positive. I haven't had a single bad experience and for that, I'm thankful. Rose and Ashley, thank you.
The mobile teams are awesome. The crisis line could use some work but overall they will do their best to help you.
Waited two months for my appointment. During my evaluation, it felt like the woman was trying to speed through the process to make her next appointment on time. There were a lot of problems that I wasn't able to address and in the end, I was essentially told ' take some Prozac and this antihistamine and I think you should feel better.' when I asked if I would be seeing a counselor or therapist anytime soon, I was told to wait another month to hear about an appointment, despite the fact that I scheduled for one 2months in advance. 'We had some people quit on us so you might have to wait a little longer but I'll email my boss to see how soon we could get you in.' If my psych evaluation was rushed, I hold little faith that that email will be sent with any urgency. However, I've read positive reviews, and am still starting up here so time will tell. But if you come here, I hope you receive a more thorough treatment than what I experienced.
Both the therapists and psychiatrists keep phenomenal and personalized care. I feel like they've really helped me through my illnesses and challenges.
My 11 yr old son started out here after transferring from another place. We went to his intake and Merna was very aweet and nice. She assigned us a therapist for counseling. That is when we met Alvaro. Let me tell you, he is absolutely awesome at what he does. He tried to relate with my son and he was very good with him. My son really enjoyed his "visits" with him. In the past my son had a hard time opening up to anyone and dreaded therapy sessions. Alvaro really helped alot with things and I have definitely seen a change in my son. We have relocated to Fl, but if we had stayed there he would still be working with Alvaro.
